On March 27, a group of middle and high school students from Russia visited ECUST for an engaging cultural exchange experience. Their day began with a tour of the university’s history museum and scenic campus, where they learned about ECUST’s rich academic legacy.

The highlight of the visit was a hands-on workshop in zaran dyeing, a fascinating traditional Chinese art recognized as intangible cultural heritage. “The colors and patterns are so magical,” said one 15-year-old student. “It’s amazing to create my own traditional Chinese artwork.”

The visitors also expressed great interest in ECUST’s Joint Multi-Degree (JMD) program. “We’re impressed by the international opportunities available here in China. This campus tour showed us a remarkable blend of modern education and cultural preservation,” said one of the high school students.
