East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) is located in Shanghai—— the most vibrant economic heart of China. ECUST has been the world’s leading research-intensive university since it was founded in 1952, and it is the first chemical industry oriented university in China that offers a wide range of elite programmes and produces graduates who make enormous achievements globally. ECUST has always been making every endeavor to develop its united and pioneering spirit and is dedicated to providing its students with advanced knowledge and skills in an academic environment full of intellectual stimulation and scientific innovation.

 

ECUST is comprised of nearly 1.7 million square meters on 2 campuses. The main campus, being 17 kilometers from Hongqiao Airport and 45 kilometers from Pudong International Airport, is situated in the prosperous and energetic Xuhui District. In addition to its downtown location, the university also features another campuses in Fengxian District.

Fengxian Campus
College of International Education (CIE)
Founded in 2006, College of International Education, located on the main campus in Xuhui district, is a bridge and bond between international students and the university. It is responsible for recruitment, enrollment, academic affairs coordination and service of all international students coming to ECUST.

International students can apply for a bachelor, master or doctoral degree program or visiting program offered by ECUST, as well as long-term or short-term Chinese language and culture program and various customized programs.


Given the student-orientated management policies, CIE always bears the interests of the students in mind and is committed to build up an efficient and effective learning platform and comfortable living environment for all the international students at ECUST.
